Product Description:
Zinc Pyrithione, also known as zinc pyrithione, zinc pyrithione, zinc omadine, a “coordination complex” of zinc and pyrithione, was synthesized and used as a topical antifungal or antibacterial agent as early as the 1930s.
Application:
(1)Zinc Pyrithione is used in shampoos to remove dandruff and inhibit the growth of gram-positive and negative bacteria and molds.
(2)It is used as anti-dandruff agent and fungicide in cosmetics, and widely used in the preparation of anti-dandruff shampoo. Mainly used in cosmetics, shampoo, skin care, but also used in adhesives, coatings, paints and so on.
