Product Description:
Pymetrozine belongs to the pyridine (pyridine-methylimine) or triazinone group of insecticides and is a non-biocidal insecticide, first developed in 1988 by the Swiss company, which has shown excellent control of stinging mouth-breathing pests in a wide range of crops. Pirimicarb has a touch-killing effect on pests and also has endosynthetic activity. It is both xylem and phloem transported in the plant; therefore it can be used as a foliar spray as well as a soil treatment. Due to its good transport properties, new growth can also be effectively protected after stem and leaf spraying.
Application:
(1) Pirimicarb is highly effective against aphids, lice, leafhoppers and whiteflies in rice, vegetables, cotton, wheat and fruit trees. It has excellent selectivity against coleopteran pests and is more selective against aphids than the best aphicide currently available, aphicarb, and also has good systemic properties.
