Product Description:
Prothioconazole is a triazolothione fungicide discovered, developed and produced by Bayer CropScience as an inhibitor of sterol demethylation (ergosterol biosynthesis); it provides good systemic action, excellent protection, therapeutic and eradication activity, long shelf life and is safe for crops. Prothioconazole is used on cereals, soybeans, oilseed rape, rice, peanuts, sugar beet and vegetables and has a broad fungicidal spectrum. Prothioconazole provides excellent protection against almost all fungal diseases on cereals. Prothioconazole can be used as a foliar spray or as a seed treatment. Efficacy tests have shown that prothioconazole is not only highly effective against Chemicalbook mildew of wheat, but also effectively inhibits the production of toxins by C. ramorum. Prothioconazole has a medium risk of resistance.
Application:
(1) Prothioconazole is mainly used to control numerous diseases of cereal crops such as wheat and barley, oilseed rape, peanut, rice and bean crops.
(2) It is very effective against almost all cereal diseases such as powdery mildew, blight, wilt, leaf spot, rust, botrytis, web spot and cloudbur in wheat and large. In addition to good results against cereal diseases Chemicalbook.
