Product Description
Phosphorus Trichloride is mainly used in the manufacture of organophosphorus compounds, also used as reagents, etc.
Application
(1)It is mainly used as raw material for the manufactureof organophosphorus pesticides, such as trichlorfon, dichlorvos, methamidophos, acephate, rice plover and so on.
(2)It is also the raw material for the manufacture of trichlorophos, trichlorophos, phosphite, triphenyl phosphate and triphenol phosphate.
(3)It is used as an intermediate in the production of sulfadiazine (S.D.), sulfadoxine-pentamethoxypyrimidine (SMD) and other drugs in the pharmaceutical industry.
(4)Dyestuff industry as a condensation agent, used in the production of chromophenol dyes.
(5)It is also used as chlorinating agent and catalyst for the production of spices.
