Product Application:
It is the raw material for the manufacture of other phenylmercury compounds, used in agriculture as seed dressing to prevent and control rice and wheat diseases, as a herbicide, as an antiseptic, mould inhibitor and fungicide, and as a bactericide in industrial water treatment. It has been used as disinfectant and antiseptic. Strong bactericidal effect. Can also kill sperm, its jelly, tablets, emulsion can be used as external contraceptive.
