Product Description:
Product Description:
Iron Oxide Brown, its molecular formula (Fe2O3+FeO)·nH2O, Brown powder. Do not dissolve in water, alcohol, ether, soluble in hot acid. The tinting strength and hiding power are high. Light fastness and alkali resistance. No water permeability and oil permeability. Hue varies with the process, yellow-brown, red-brown, black-brown, etc.
Application:
1. In the Building Materials Industry
Ferric Brown is mainly used for colored cement, colored cement floor tiles, colored cemrnt tiles, imitation glazed tiles, concrete floor tiles, colored mortar, colored asphalt, terrazzo, mosaic tiles, artificial marble and wall painting, etc.
2. Various Paint Coloring and Protective Subatances
Ferric Brown primer has anti-rust function, can replace high-priced red paint, and save non-ferrous metals. Including water-based interior and exterior wall coatings, powder coating, etc. ; also suitable for oil-based paints including epoxy, alkyd, amino and other primers and topcoats; can also be used for toy paints, decorative paints, furniture paints, electrophoretic paints and enamel paints.
3. For the Coloring of Plastic Products
Ferric Brown can be used for coloring plastic products, such as thermosetting plastics and thermoplastics, and the coloring of rubber products, such as automobile inner tubes, aircraft inner tubes, bicycle inner tubes, etc.
4. Advanced Fine Grinding Materials
Ferric Brown is mainly used for polishing precision hardware instruments, optical glass, etc. High purity is the main base material of powder metallurgy, used to smelt various magnetic alloys and other high-grade alloy steels. It is obtained by calcining ferrous sulfate or iron oxide yellow or lower iron at high temperature, or directly from liquid medium.
