Product Description:
White crystalline powder. Soluble in water and able to chelate with a variety of metal ions.
Application:
(1) Among the salts of EDTA, EDTA-2Na is the most important and is an important complexing agent for complexing metal ions and separating metals, but also for detergents, liquid soaps, shampoos, agricultural chemical sprays, bleaching and fixing solutions for the development and processing of colour-sensitive materials, water purification agents, pH adjusters, anionic coagulants, etc. In the redox initiation system for the polymerization of styrene-butadiene rubber, EDTA-2Na is used as a component of the active agent, mainly for complexing ferrous ions and controlling the rate of polymerization reaction.Examines calcium, magnesium, etc.
(2) Used in pharmaceutical industry, colour development, smelting of rare metals, etc. It is an important complexing agent and metal masking agent.
