Product Description:
Cyclohexanone is an organic compound with the chemical formula (CH2)5CO, a saturated cyclic ketone with the carbonyl carbon atom included in the six-membered ring. It is a colourless, transparent liquid with an earthy odour and a minty taste when traces of phenol are present. Impurity is light yellow, with storage time to generate impurities and colour, water white to grey-yellow, with a strong pungent odour. Mixed with air explosion pole and open chain saturated ketone the same. In industry, it is mainly used as organic synthetic raw materials and solvents, for example, it can dissolve nitrocellulose, paints, lacquers and so on.
Product Application:
1.Cyclohexanone is an important chemical raw material and a major intermediate in the manufacture of nylon, caprolactam and adipic acid. It is also an important industrial solvent, such as for paints, especially those containing nitrocellulose, vinyl chloride polymers and their copolymers or methacrylate polymer paints.
2.Excellent solvent for pesticides such as organophosphorus insecticides and many analogues, used as a solvent for dyes, as a viscous solvent for piston type aviation lubricants, solvent for greases, waxes and rubber.
3.It is also used as a homogenising agent for dyeing and fading silk, a degreasing agent for polishing metals, and a wood colouring paint, which can be used to remove the film, stain and spot with cyclohexanone.
4.Cyclohexanone and cyanoacetic acid condensation of cyclohexylcyanoacetic acid, and then elimination, decarboxylation of cyclohexene acetonitrile, and finally by hydrogenation to get cyclohexene ethylamine [3399-73-3], cyclohexene ethylamine is the intermediate of the drug cough Meche, Temarron and so on.
5.It is used as a high boiling point solvent for nail polish and other cosmetics. Usually formulated with low-boiling point solvents and medium-boiling point solvents into a mixture of solvents, in order to obtain the appropriate evaporation rate and viscosity.
