Product Description:
Ammonia, an aqueous solution of ammonia, has a strong pungent odour and is weakly basic. Ammonia is a common source of ammonia in the laboratory. It can interact with solutions containing copper ions to form dark blue complexes, and can also be used to prepare analytical chemicals such as silver-ammonia solutions. Ammonia water volatile ammonia gas, with the increase in temperature and placed for a longer period of time and the volatility rate increases, and with the concentration of the volatility of the increase in the amount. Ammonia has a certain corrosive effect, carbonated ammonia corrosive more serious. The corrosion of copper is stronger, steel is worse, and the corrosion of cement is not great. There is also a certain corrosive effect on wood.
Application:
Used as agricultural fertiliser. Used in the chemical industry for the manufacture of a variety of ammonium salts, organic synthesis of amine agent, the production of thermosetting phenolic resin catalyst. Textile industry for wool, silk, printing and dyeing industry, for washing wool, tweed, greasy cloth and dyeing, adjusting the pH and so on. It is also used for alkalisation of pharmaceuticals, tanning, hot-water bottle gallons (silver-plated liquid preparation), rubber and grease.
