    Superiority:

It is easily soluble in water and is orange-yellow. When hydrochloric acid is added, it turns red and precipitates. When sodium hydroxide solution is added, the color remains unchanged, but precipitates occur when excessive amounts are added. Easily soluble in ethanol, ether, benzene and glycol ether, slightly soluble in acetone. It appears purple in concentrated sulfuric acid, and red precipitate will appear after dilution; it appears blue in concentrated nitric acid, and then gradually turns to orange. When dyeing, the color will be dark green when exposed to copper ions; lighter when exposed to iron ions; and slightly changed when exposed to chromium ions.

    Application:

Acid yellow 36 is used in wool dyeing and direct printing of wool and silk fabrics, and can also be combined with acid light yellow 2G and acid red G to dye golden yellow.
