Superiority:
Orange-yellow uniform powder. Soluble in water, glycerin and propylene glycol, slightly soluble in ethanol, insoluble in fat. It has good heat resistance, acid resistance, light resistance and salt resistance, is stable to citric acid and tartaric acid, and has poor oxidation resistance. It turns red when exposed to alkali and fades when reduced. Lemon yellow lake is a yellow fine powder, odorless. Slowly dissolves in acidic or alkali-containing aqueous solutions, and is insoluble in water and organic solvents. The heat resistance and light resistance are stronger than lemon yellow.
Application:
Acid yellow 23 is used in the coloring of food, medicine and daily cosmetics.
