Product Description:
2-Methyl-4-Chlorophenoxyacetic Acid is 2-methyl-4-chloro sodium salt, processed into 20% water. It is a hormone-type herbicide, easily absorbed and transmitted by roots and leaves, destroying the metabolism of the plant, causing the plant to change its shape, swelling, cracking and moulding and dying. It is suitable for eliminating weeds in grass crops, such as small grain cereals, rice, peas, lawn, preventing and eliminating a variety of annual and perennial dicotyledonous broadleaf weeds and some monocotyledonous weeds, with a dose of 0.28-2.25kg (active ingredient)/hm2, and it is also effective in eliminating broadleaf grasses and triticale grasses. The product has a great impact on broad-leaved crops such as cotton, soya bean, melon and vegetables, which will die after spraying. The product can not be mixed with acidic pesticides.
Application:
(1)It is used as a plant growth stimulant in agriculture to prevent early blossom and fruit drop in tomato and other fruits, and form seedless fruits, promote early maturity of crops, and accelerate rooting of plugs. It can also be used as herbicide.
(2)It can effectively prevent and eliminate broadleaf grass and dropwort family, applicable to rice, wheat and other crops.
